We Interrupt This Program ...
Please accept my apologies for intruding on this blog with words instead of images. I try to keep my own verbiage out of the picture, so to speak, because I believe this place should be a place for images, and images alone.
Except in the case of the comments you might care to make.
And that is where the problem lies which I wish to address here at this time. I'm hearing that many of you are having difficulties with the inline commenting form I have been using. I apologize for that.
I am switching this evening to Blogger's old pop-up style to see if that makes any difference. If the problems continue, please feel free to drop me a line by email to let me know. Below each post is an icon for this purpose.
I have also stopped the word verification requirement. I seldom, if ever, get spammed, so that should not prove to be a problem. If it does, I'll tackle that then.
I take this problem seriously because the Comments section has proven to be a delightful place where visitors have met with me and with each other to trade their thoughts and ideas about the pictures I have made. I consider it my own front stoop, a New Orleans tradition, a place where we can socialize with one another and enjoy each other's company. As such, to me, it is far too valuable a place to lose.
Thank you for letting me know about the problem. Let's see if we can't fix this baby before he grows up to be a boor. Thank you.
